'Reflect and project'

The concept of this work is the strengthening interaction that sound and light have with each other. This work consist out of 3 super bright light sources that shine through different layers.  A story is told by projecting constant changing shadows controlled by ambient background noise. The lenses change their focal point by automatically moving back and forth.
Reflect and project is the working title while this project is still in development.

Resonating room (2023)

'Resonating Room'

Resonating room is an interactive art installation which reacts on the audience. The "room" is surrounded by 12 metal strings which are vibrating on the intensity of the audience. In the center is a rotating laser which scans the surrounding for objects (Lidar) this information is translated to control each string. Each string is slightly detuned which creates constant changing sound experience while walking through the room. It's an immersive experience that triggers people to experiment.
